The Sonic World was a Sonic the Hedgehog fan site that was active roughly from 2001-2007. It was started by two brothers who had access to the family computer, a new “high speed” (100kbps?) internet connection, and a little too much time on their hands. But, a dedicated volunteer “staff” contributed immensely, and hundreds of visitors a day were the heart of this early online community. We had a lot of good times.
